My Physics teacher finally put zeros in for all my missing assignment. It dropped my grade 7%. I’m pretty sure once I turn them in— which I will!— he’ll take them for full credit, but in the mean time, it’s another reason for my mother to yell at me.

I’m sure she won’t even notice that I got A’s on my last two Calculus tests and that my grade is almost an A in there now.

Nope. Never any recognition for good work. I do believe I am messed up for life, pairing that with her constant invalidation of my feelings.
